This week in assembly we spoke about device use in school and in particular the use of phones and smart watches. The Government introduced the 'Phones away for the day' law in 2024 under the Education Regulation (2020). This states that all students can not use or access their phone at school, including during lunch time and breaks. By law, state and state-integrated schools must have a policy about restricting the use of phones by students during school time. The Dunstan Golf Club Junior programme is a progressive golf system which works through eight tiers of competence and is suitable for ages from 4 to 18. The system also suits all levels from novice to accomplished players. For those that do not have clubs, there are a number of sets available to use at no cost.
