The DHS Sports Council are excited to announce two new sports funds available to our students and their families.  The financial assistance is funded from the annual DHS Golf Tournament. We thank the community for their generous support with this sports fundraising event.

DHS Sporting Excellence Travel Scholarship and Sports Fee Assistance Funds

These funds have been set up to enable students to pursue sporting opportunities.

  1. To enable students to participate when financial hardship is a barrier

  2. To support our top sports people to travel to represent their country

  • A pool of $5000 will be maintained annually to sustain these funds

  • The money comes from funds raised as a result of the Annual School Golf Tournament

  • $2500 is available annually for the Sports Assistance Fund

  • $2500 is available annually for the Sports Travel Scholarship Fund with a maximum allocation of $500 per person per year

  • The funds work in isolation from each other

  • Golf tournament funds are used to top up this fund annually

  • The Sports Council will consider applications to the Sports Travel Scholarship Fund and award as they see fit.

  • The Sports Director and Head of Sport will oversee the sports assistance fund.
