The Breen TradeBase Programme is a new initiative for 2026.
The programme involves eight senior Dunstan High School students spending two days a week on a Breen building site, currently located on the Dunstan High School Hostel grounds. Students work alongside a qualified and experienced Breen builder, Mr John Miles, to construct a house. The students also engage in theoretical study, gaining credits through BCITO, to support their practical learning. Breen TradeBase is the perfect step towards gaining a Building or Construction based apprenticeship.
