On Wednesday 14th May 29 Year 12 students made the most of the opportunity to travel to Dunedin and visit Salmond College, a Hall of Residence for both Otago University and Otago Polytechnic students, and attend the Tahatū Career Navigator Expo.

At our first stop students were able to tour Salmond College and get a real sense of what living in a Hall of Residence might be like. Lunch was delicious and enjoyed by all. Our second stop of the day was to attend the Tahatū Career Navigator Expo. Students were free to wander and engage in conversation with a variety of study institutions and companies. When surveyed about their time at the expo some of the comments made were "I enjoyed being exposed to more opportunities and pathways that I didn't know were available" and "I found it useful to ask questions about how to apply for future courses and being able to collect some information to look at options".
