Ruby Cameron, in Year 11 has had a busy showjumping season and secured several wins and top placements in her specialty 1.10m height category.

 A standout moment for Ruby was recently at the Queenstown showjumping event, where she showcased her talent in the 1.10 championship class against much older and seasoned competitors she placed a well deserved 2nd also winning the 1m class. Showjumping requires both precision and speed as riders navigate courses with up to 12 fences, aiming to leave each one intact while achieving the fastest time. She is now headed into the Hunt season where she and the group of riders will follow the hounds (Beagles) as they track the scent of hares through the countryside, clearing  full wire fences in the process.

Congratulations Ruby on your progression in the sport and on a wonderful season, you have worked incredibly hard on building a partnership with your younger horses, we look forward to watching your progress.
