Eating Disorders - A Community Discussion

Thanks to funding from REAP and Path Wānaka, we are hosting a free community event to bring people together for an open, informed conversation about eating disorders and support pathways.

We warmly invite you to attend, and would appreciate your support in sharing this opportunity with your school communities, including parents, whānau, teachers, counsellors, and anyone wanting to better support those affected.

This event will:

  • Increase awareness of the signs and symptoms to support early identification and intervention.
  • Challenge common myths and misconceptions.
  • Provide information about local and regional supports and services.
  • Raise awareness of Eating Disorder Carer Support (EDCS).
  • Explore the potential for establishing an Upper Clutha support group.
