Congratulations to Sky Sanders who last weekend qualified as a top eight finalist in NZ and competed in the NFR, National Finals Rodeo in the Waikato 22nd and 23rd March.

Sky is preparing to head to the USA in July in the NZ squad to compete in the World NHSFR and try improve her current world ranking in a few events. Wishing you and the team the best of luck with this and your fundraising and congratulations on making your first NFR as an Open competitor.

Sky and her whānau are trying to come up with some fundraising options people can support and get something memorable out of. Two fundraising options to help get our local cowgirl to the Worlds to represent NZ in July, Whānau photoshoot or two different horse trek options where she is working with local business. This is Sky's last opportunity to attend the Worlds National High School event, where she is competing against the top four from each state in the US and other countries from around the world.
