This week in assembly we spoke about device use in school and in particular the use of phones and smart watches. The Government introduced the 'Phones away for the day' law in 2024 under the Education Regulation (2020). This states that all students can not use or access their phone at school, including during lunch time and breaks. By law, state and state-integrated schools must have a policy about restricting the use of phones by students during school time. Please find attached the Dunstan High School policy that our students are required to follow.
