Congratulations to our own Avie Morgan for being selected in the Next-Generation Netball Talent National Development Camp 2026.

Ninety secondary school netballers from across New Zealand have been invited to take part in three regionalised development camps in January. Selections are based on nominations from Zones, combined with ongoing tracking by the NNZ Emerging Talent Selection Panel throughout this season and previous years.  NZSS Head Coach Jo Morrison, who will again lead the NZSS programme, said the National Development Camp would challenge athletes on and off the court, offering important insight into becoming a performance netballer.

Avie, alongside 30 other South Island Players, will participate in the three day camp on January 16-18th in Ashburton. This is incredible and we wish Avie the best of luck.
