Dunstan High School provides a warm welcome to all International Students. We are a multicultural school in a beautiful part of New Zealand. As International Director I am privileged to have the opportunity to connect students with experienced homestay families and assist them to become part of our school and local community. After getting to know more about students we carefully place students in local homes. You will not only get a homestay but possibly an extended family and become a member of the community. 

Our small number of International students ensures that you will receive individual support and encouragement to continue with your current interests and try many of the activities available within our school and local community. Whether it is joining our school production, choir, orchestra or sports teams including rowing, canoe / kayaking, ice hockey, or mountain biking, we have a place for you.

We are proud of the Outdoor Education programme which we offer all students. You will be encouraged to go on many trips within the area to experience as much of our local scenery and adventures as possible. You will be encouraged to conquer our onsite ropes course, learning team work and confidence.
