Otago Secondary Trades Academy

This year, along with all of the students who are out on Gateway learning valuable skills in the workplace, we have students who are spending one or two days a week at the Otago Secondary Tertiary Campus (OSTC) at the Campus in Cromwell. This year, we have 46 Dunstan High School students who are enrolled in Hospitality, Cookery, Beauty Therapy, Automotive and Building.

The students are taught by tutors who are experts in their field and learn skills which will be extremely useful in their future careers. For some of our students this is their second year at the OSTC. For those in their second year of Building, they have the exciting opportunity this year to build a house in Cromwell, under the supervision of their tutor from Breen Construction.
