Kia Ora, I'm Harley Turnbull a Year 13 student and every Wednesday I complete work experience with Sam Corson at Corson Construction.

I have enjoyed the experience because I really appreciate working outside and learning new ideas and skills. When I started work experience I didn't know anything about building and I have enjoyed learning new building skills and how to use building tools. I would recommend Gateway to students because of the opportunities it can provide, especially if you don’t have a clear idea of what you would like to do when you leave school. Gateway is a good subject for having a chance to work out what careers are out there, particularly in the trades.
