The Careers Office team enjoy hearing success stories from students who have come through work experience to go on to full-time employment with their employers.

One such recent example is Charlie Batt who last year embarked on a period of work experience with Rabbette Brick and Block. He impressed James and the team with his work ethic and was offered full-time employment. Leaving school at the end of 2025 he has been working with James and the team ever since. James recently got in touch to advise the careers team that Charlie has just signed up for an apprenticeship with Rabbette Brick and Block and we were delighted to hear this. 

Rabbette Brick and Block have taken on our students in the past also, see below for a picture showing James Rabbette, Charlie Batt and Taura Wilson, a past Dunstan High School work experience student, who went on to do an apprenticeship and is now a fully qualified senior member of the team. They will also be taking on a Gateway student this year and we want to thank them for their continued support of our students and school.
