On Friday 23rd May a small group of interested students travelled to Bendigo to visit Santana Minerals.
During the trip students listened to lots of information regarding the resource consents, the set-up of the mine, what the mine will look like and the types of employment opportunities that will be available. Students were fortunate to look at the core shed and the cores that have been extracted from the site of the proposed mine. We were able to see flecks of gold and we learnt about how the gold will be extracted in the near future. We are very grateful to Santana Minerals, Vicki and Alex, for having us visit and sharing their knowledge with us.

If students are interested in future employment opportunities they are encouraged to visit https://www.santanaminerals.com/careers and fill in the expression of interest form with as much information as possible.
