Parents should have received an email explaining the need to discuss with your child their readiness to sit one or more exams for the Literacy and Numeracy standards which are a requirement in order to achieve NCEA Level 1. 

Entries for these close at the end of August (for Round 2 in Week 4 of Term 4).  

Wānanga teachers will be asking your child whether they wish to sit these exams.
