Thank you to Robbie and Corrine at The Paddock in Fruitlands for hosting the Year 12 Food & Nutrition class for a visit.

They explained how their family have moved to Alexandra to live a more sustainable lifestyle. Information from our question and answer session will be used for completion of the Sustainability Achievement Standard. We were shown their seedling nursery, garden and packing shed. Students were impressed by the sprayfree organic vegetables they produce for local markets and the sustainable practices used throughout the production. Mrs Taylor brought some garlic back to school which will be used to make flavoured oils.
