Monday 24 April (1st day Term 2) is a Teacher Only Day.

This day has been allocated to schools by the Ministry of Education to begin to look at Te Mātaiaho - The New Zealand Curriculum Refresh Document. Four days have been allocated over the next two years to support the implementation of this document.

With Tuesday 25th April being ANZAC Day - effectively Term 2 does not begin until Wednesday 26 April.
