Surveys are now open for the Inland and Lower Mata-au/Clutha Catchment Action Plans, and we welcome your feedback.
The two integrated catchment groups, Inland and Lower, have generously put in their time to three workshops to identify what matters in their catchments and the changes they want to see. We’re now inviting the wider community to comment on the proposed visions, values, pressures and goals.
Have we captured what matters to you? Is anything missing or needing a change? Our team is committed to taking your feedback on board and incorporating your views as the plans develop.
Please complete the survey relevant to your area, or both if you have an interest in both catchments:
- Inland Mata-au/Clutha community survey — Central Otago and connected catchments.
- Lower Mata-au/Clutha community survey — Clutha District and connected catchments.
Both surveys close at the end of Monday 26 October. Each is anonymous and takes around 5 minutes. These are non-regulatory plans focused on practical action to improve catchment health and support the work already happening. There will also be an opportunity to comment on the draft plans before they are finalised via another survey.
Please share the surveys with others in your networks who may be interested. If you have any questions, reply to this email or contact [email protected].
