Ecstatic Dance Central welcomes you to join us for fortnightly ecstatic dances at Clyde Memorial Hall.

Even if you have never danced before or feel self-conscious, ecstatic dance is a non-judgemental and supportive space where you can move as much or as little as you feel like. 

We dance barefoot, without talking, phones or substances, allowing you to tune out of the mind and into the body and the music in the calming ambience of fairy lights, Himalayan salt lamps and candles.

This coming dance celebrates the rich tribal origins of ecstatic dance from cultures around the world. 

Free your spirit and embrace the healing power of movement as the music guides you on a journey—from a gentle awakening, through rising energy to wild peaks and then softly returning to the heart. The experience concludes with integration, reflection, and a peaceful stillness, leaving you grounded and renewed.
